Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt visits a three -day US tour Tuesday

New -Delhi, May 26 (IANS). Foreign Minister Vikram Egypt will visit the US of Tuesday. The Foreign Ministry (MEA) said on Monday that the Egyptian would go to Washington to meet senior US administration officials. The statement issued by the ministry said: “The journey is followed by the Prime Minister’s visit to the US in February 2025, when the two parties launched the Indo-US compact (catalyst of opportunities for military partnership, fast trade and technology) for the 21st century.” Sources say that Deputy National Security Advisor (Deputy NSA) Pawan Kapoor can also visit the Foreign Minister to America. The visit will take place at a time when US President Donald Trump repeatedly claimed that his administration had led the ceasefire between India and Pakistan earlier this month. However, India says the consent was created after the desperate efforts of Pakistan to end the enmity in light of the bomb attack on Pakistan airlocations during the ‘Operation Sindoor’. Foreign Minister Jaishankar also reiterated last week that not only America, but also contacted many countries with India between May 7-10. In an interview with the Netherlands -based NOS, the Foreign Minister said that there were direct talks between India and Pakistan about shooting and military action. He said the agreed upon the ceasefire was when the opposing country took the first step. The Foreign Minister said it is natural for other countries to establish communication channels with countries involved in military conflict. He said US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke to me, while US Vice President JD Vance spoke to Premier Modi. Trump also said India offered to enter into the bilateral trade agreement with the US, originally suggested that many US goods no fee will be charged. Earlier this month, Trump, the capital of Qatar, said he offered us an agreement under which he is basically ready to charge us. During his visit to Washington in February, Prime Minister Narendra Modi discussed Trump to work mutually advantageous by the first phase of the multi-regional bilateral trade agreement. Meanwhile, an eight member delegation led by congress parliamentary member Shashi Tharoor will also visit the United States after completing his visit to Guyana, Panama, Columbia and Brazil, where he will further improve India’s difficult message of zero -tolerance against terrorism. The Indian delegation, who left for Guyana to New York, will now return to the US for a meeting with leaders, MPs and opinions. -Ians psk/acade
