He said that on August 6 at 11 o’clock a call from an unknown number was received from the hospital business number. Since he was unknown, he did not pick up the phone, but the same number was called on WhatsApp. After some time, he received a message and threatened to pay extortion fee of Rs 20 Lakh. The message said he had to manage the money before eight in the night, otherwise he was threatened with death. Police registered a case against the unknown and began the investigation. DSP Sandeep Singh said the accused would be arrested shortly after seeing the seriousness of the case. Dr Monica was also called according to police sources, dr. Monica was also called from the same number from the cellphone number from which the manager of Saraswati Eye Care asked to get extortion. He was also demanded to pay Rs 20 Lakh and threatened to shoot because he did not pay the money.
