Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje paid tribute to Nandlal Mena, an interesting story to the workers, "rejected the post of Pratapgarh"

Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje reached Amba Mat, the town of former Minister Nandlal Mena, on Wednesday (October 8) and paid tribute to his downfall. Vasundhara paid tribute to Mena and attended the turban ceremony. He also comforted Nandlal Mena’s son and Minister of Income Hemant Mena. Raje described the late Nandlal Mena as the Messiah of Pratapgarh region and said it was a privilege for him to work with him in the cabinet. Vasundhara Raje tells the story of Nandlal Mena and the rise of Pratapgarh. He told how Nandlal Mena even refused to accept the ministerial post for Pratapgarh, showing his deep love for the region. Before he took an oath, he said, “Don’t make me a minister.” Vasundhara Raje said: “When I first became a chief minister in 2003, while I formed the cabinet, I told Nandlal Mena that I would make him a minister and that he would have to take an oath in the morning.” Then Nandlal Mena said to me, “Don’t make me a minister, Pratapgarh just makes a district.” When I saw his love for me, I made him a minister and also made Pratapgarh a district. He regularly insisted on getting development work from me. Raje said: “When I was the chief minister, he was a minister. However, I considered him my older brother and called him Bhai Saheb. He would insist that I work for the development of his area. He had his own personality. He was a man of principles. He maintained the deep friendship and deep enmity. Vasundhara Raje said: “Nandlal Mena was a man who did not work for himself, but for his people. The development he brought to the region could not be reached by any other leader.” Raje said it was God’s grace that he had the opportunity to work with a person like Nandlal.
