Patna, October 10 (IANS). In a major political development before the election in the Bihar meeting, former Muzaffarpur parliamentary Ajay Nishad joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday night. Ajay Nishad’s father, Jai Narayan Prasad Nishad, was a senior leader who was a three -time MP of Muzaffarpur and also a minister in the central government. As the meeting election approach is approached, speculations reinforced that BJP Ajay Nishad or his wife Rama Nishad of the Kudhani meeting could sit down. Some -insiders consider its return as a strategic step to consolidate the votes of the Nishad community in the region. On Friday, four JDU leaders, including former Purnia -LP Santosh Kushwaha, joined RJD. Apart from Santosh Kushwaa, former Jdu Mla Rahul Sharma and Chanakya Prakash, son of the current JDU -LP of Banka Giridhari Yadav, also joined RJD. Santosh Kushwaha disputed from Purnia in 2024 and lost the election against independent candidate Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav. Tejashwi welcomed the new members in the party and said that Santosh Kushwaha is a prominent leader of the Kushwaha community. With his connection, RJD will get stronger in the Seemanchal region, where our influence was previously limited. –Is PSK shares this story tags
