In 1989, Anil burned his wife by setting him on fire in the Delhi Cantt area. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder case. According to DCP Aditya Gautam, Anil Kumar Tiwari is a resident of Churhat, Madhya Pradesh. On May 31, 1989, a case of murder was arrested on May 14, 1989, at the Delhi Cantt police station for setting his wife on fire. A FIR is registered on the basis of Post -Mortem. After the hearing, he was convicted by the court and sentenced to life imprisonment. Two weeks’ parole was received from the Delhi High Court, after which he received two weeks from the Delhi High Court on November 21, 2005. He did not surrender to the jail after the parole period was over and has since eliminated. The responsibility to catch him was entrusted to the crime branch.
