Cricket News Desk. Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has criticized after playing only three Test matches out of five on England tour. Many veteran players asked questions why they only played three games, and how one player can be allowed to choose the game according to their will. But the former appraiser of Indian cricket team Chetan Sharma supported Jaspreet Bumrah. He says players must accept the advice of the physio as they can make the best decision. Bumrah played the first, third and fourth tests on England tour. It has already been decided that he will only play three Test matches. Former fast bowler Chetan Sharma said any patient should accept the advice of a doctor. He said this at Doorldarshan on the occasion of Prasar Bharati’s agreement with the London cricket analysis business CRICWIZ to broadcast 104 episodes of ‘The Great Indian Cricket Show’ on Doordarshan. He said: ‘If the medical team advises, if the doctor tells me that I want to take antibiotics, I should take it. If our physio asks a player to do a workload management, then I think we should listen to him, because he considers things better. Bumrah had to use the management of management due to a back injury, former captains such as Mohammad Azharuddin and Dilip Vengsarkar took Bumrah to play only three Tests. He said the player should not be allowed to do so. However, it was revealed that Bumrah played only three Tests in England after the advice of the BCCI medical team. He sustained another back injury during his tour of Australia in January 2025. As a result, he stayed away from cricket for four months. Earlier in 2022, Bumrah also sustained a similar injury.
