Gajendra Shekhawat met traders in Jodhpur, Milpel told GST Reforms

Jodhpur, September 23 (IANS). The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, met on Tuesday at Sardarpura Sea Road in Jodhpur and discussed the historical changes in GST. The traders warmly welcomed him with flowers and cliffs. During this, he went to every store and communicated with the dealers and gave information about the new GST plate. Minister K Bishnoi, Rajya Sabha -LP Rajendra Herdlot and local MLA were also present in the Rajasthan government. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said that large and historical changes in GST have been made led by Premier Narendra Modi, which will benefit every part of the country. He said: “Now the plate of GST has been reduced to just two. With that, the GST tariffs were greatly reduced on the goods used in students, farmers and ordinary homes.” He further said that 90 percent of the goods previously in the 18 percent category and 12 percent were now placed in the 0 percent and 5 percent category. At the same time, 95 percent of items that were only 12 percent in the plate now have 0 gst. In addition, the goods that were earlier in the plate of 28 percent or higher have now been reduced to 18 percent. The Union Minister said that all the citizens of the country would save about two and a half Lakh crore rupees annually due to these reforms. He said: “If money is left in the ordinary man’s pocket, the shopping is increasing in the market.
