Gang rape accused in Delhi on the police has been arrested
New -Delhi, April 27 (IANS). Delhi police have arrested an accused who was sought in a startling case of gang rape and also fired at the police during the arrest. DCP Crime Harsh Indora said the arrested accused was identified as Javed alias pawa alias Sunny alias Bablu (37 years old), resident Tagore Garden, Delhi. He is a history of Khyala police station in the Western District and was sought in a gang rape case in Delhi and raped at the tip of the gun. According to police, Asi Devendra was informed that the notorious Historyheater of the Khyala police station, Javed, who is in the gang rape case, is present in the Wazirabad police station and has an illegal weapon. Crime Branch, a team from NR-II, was performed. During the operation, the policy team saw the accused Javed of the vehicle climbing near Jagatpur Pushta. The team indicated him to stop, but the accused fired on the Head Constable Development, a member of the police team. The bullet is past HC Development Ear and they have now survived. Javed tried to shoot again, but Chief Constable Vikas caught courage and caught him. There was a scramble between the two, through which Javed could not shoot again. Eventually, HC Vikas and Si Balraj controlled the accused and an illegal gun and five vibrant cartridges from him. The police registered a case against the accused in terms of the relevant divisions and began the investigation. During interrogation, the accused revealed that a woman had lodged a complaint with the Nabi Karim police station in the last week of January 2025. The complaint said he was friends in May 2024 by a young man named Ankush, who became pregnant, but Ankush assaulted her and caused her abortion. In December 2024, Ankush’s friend Javed came to his house with a gun and raped her at the tip of the gun. Ankush has already been arrested in this case, while Javed was slandering and constantly changing his hiding place.
