Prime Minister Narendra Modi expanded greetings on Wednesday for the sake of Ganesh Chaturthi. In a post on X, PM prayed for the well -being and prosperity of everyone during the pleasant opportunity. “Hardly Ganesh Chaturthi wishes you all. May this sacred opportunity fill with dedication and faith to all. I pray to Mr. Gajanana that he blesses all his devoted with happiness, peace and excellent health. Ganpati Bappa Minea!,” Wrote the prime minister. Vinayak Chaturthi, also known as Vinayak Chavithi, is a festival that the worship of Lord Ganesha considers the god of new beginning and remover of obstacles. Fans across India and abroad celebrate its wisdom and intelligence with decorated homes and pandals, prayers, music and live marches. Earlier in the day, dedicated the Shree Siddhivinayak Ganpati -Temple in Mumbai informed prayers for the sake of Ganesh Chaturthi. For the festivities, people bring Lord Ganesh idols to their homes, look quickly, prepare treats and visit pandals during the festival. The festival, celebrated throughout the country, sees lakhs of devoted people gathering in temples and mandals to seek blessings of Lord Ganesh. The first incidence of Mumbai’s famous Lalbaugcha Raja was unveiled on Sunday. Lalbaugcha Raja, produced with unparalleled artistry, is more than just an idol; It is a symbol of collective faith, artistic control and the vibrant spirit of Mumbai. Every year, millions of dedicates come here for Darshan. The unveiling of the Lalbaugcha Raja, the iconic Ganesh God, is another most important attraction of the festival. The history of the Lalbaugcha Raja is quite famous, as it is the popular Ganesh god of Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, located in Putlabai Chawl, a place of worship founded in 1934. Earlier in July, the Maharashtra government declared the public Ganeshotsav as the ‘Maharashtra State Festival’. The announcement was made in the Legislative Assembly by the Minister of Cultural Affairs, Ashish Shelar, who says the tradition of public Ganeshotsav was started in Maharashtra in 1893 by Lokmanya Tilak.
