The Nagar municipality will convert wet waste into Vermi compost and provide it for use in farmers and horticulture. On the one hand, the city will be clean. On the other hand, farmers get cheap and organic fertilizer. The burden of waste management on the municipality will also be reduced. Executive Officer DK Rai said the project will begin within 15-20 days after the rain is over. It will take about 45-60 days to become a compost.
