Ghaziabad: Mussoorie Police arrested three thieves, recovered arms and goods.

Ghaziabad, October 24 (IANS). Ghaziabad’s Mussoorie Police Station successfully busted the theft that took place on the night of October 22 and arrested three thieves. Police recovered stolen gold and silver jewellery, a pistol, live cartridges and other items from them. The fourth accused is still absconding, teams have been deployed to arrest him. According to the police, there was theft in the house of Arif son Khurshid Ahmed in Mussoorie police station area. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police immediately started taking action. With the help of the informer, the police arrested three accused Muqeem, Imran and Maroof. His age is said to be between 21 and 25 years. The fourth accused Arif son of Kudrat, who is a resident of Dehra, Bijnor, is still absconding. The accused confessed to their crime during police interrogation. He told that all four of them went together to commit theft at around 02:00 on the night of October 21-22. They entered the house through the roof and stole jewellery, cash and other items. The police also recovered stolen goods and tools used in the crime from them. The recovered items include 8 polished metal bracelets, 1 yellow metal chain, 3 tops, 5 earrings, 1 pistol (315 bore), 1 live cartridge, 1 hacksaw, 1 screwdriver and 1 pliers. According to the police, cases related to theft and weapons have already been registered against these accused. Mussoorie police station registered a case against all and initiated legal action.
