Global Markets Today: Asian markets mostly traded in red on Tuesday, as investors were waiting for the outcome of the discussions in the White House between US President Donald Trump, Ukraine’s president Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European leaders. Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 0.1 percent after hitting a record high in the previous session, while the wider Topix index was unchanged. In South Korea, the KOSPI dropped 0.2 percent in early trading, and the technical heavy Kosdaq dumped 0.33 percent. Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 opened 0.61 percent lower. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong Hang Seng index was at 25.230, which was a stronger open compared to Monday’s closure of 25.176.85.
