The problems of RCB will increase in the Bengaluru Stampede case, the government of Karnataka has begun legal action based on this report
IPL 2025 champion Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is in trouble. The franchise, which won its first title in the Stampede case in Bangalore, will now be prosecuted. In this case, the Karnataka government has now allowed RCB to be prosecuted. This government’s decision came after the report of the Investigation Commission in which RCB and Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) were held responsible for the incident. Along with KSCA, RCB was also allowed to prosecute. RCB won the IPL final on June 3 and won the title for the first time. A day later, on June 4, the RCB team returned to their city of Bangalore and at the same time there was a sudden bump at M Chinnaswamy Stadium amid the victory, in which 11 people died. About 50 people were also injured in this accident. After this horrific incident, the Karnataka government formed a member investigation commission chaired by retired Judge Michael d’unha. The report of the accused, including RCB, KSCA’s report from Justice d’unha, was presented before the Karnataka cabinet last week, which was approved on Thursday, July 24. In addition to RCB and KSCA, DNA Entertainment Networks Private Limited was also found guilty in the report. In this case, Karnataka Minister HK Patil told PTI news agency: “The Cabinet decided to accept Judge John Michael d’unha’s report and start legal action on it.” Government officials will also be investigated. Patil clearly said that the names of people and institutions responsible for this horrific incident of stamped and negligence are recorded in the report of Justice d’unha. Justice d’unha was entrusted with the responsibility of this investigation on June 5 when Siddaramaiah, chief minister of Karnataka, announced the establishment of an investigative commission under his leadership.
