AIIMS's 'da vinci' robot will now help with complex cancer operations, 100 surgery was successful in the trial -NCR AIIMS DELHI LANDING DA Vinci robot for advanced robot surgery

Updated: Sun, 28 Sep 2025 12:52 am (IST) Delhi AIIMS has the Da Vinci robot by Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Institute introduced, which is the advanced technology of robotic operations. This rectum is useful in esophagus and gynecological cancer. More than 100 surgery was successful in the trial. Surgeons will get better visibility and patients will get the benefit of rapid recovery with less pain. Aiims Delhi is now setting new standards for cancer surgery. Aiims’ ‘da vinci’ robot will now help with complex cancer operations. Jagran correspondent, New -Delhi. Aiims Delhi launched the ‘Da Vinci’ robot on Saturday with an advanced robotic operation in the Department of Surgical Engineering Hospital of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital. This robot technique will help surgeons in complex cases associated with rectum, esophagus, pancreas and gynecological cancer. Remove ad, just read the news, as a hearing before the launch, more than 100 patients were also surgery, the results of which were very positive. Given the increasing demand and accuracy in surgery, it was started for patients. Dr. Sunil Kumar, head of the Department of Surgical Manager, said this method offers benefits of small incisions, low blood loss, low pain, sharp recovery and less complications, which helps them to get healthy and return early. Da Vinci system also gets better visibility, control and accuracy for surgeons. With this program, Aiims Delhi sets new public sector standards in the public sector. At the same time, it facilitates access to the state -of -the -art treatment for people across the country. In the future, the department plans to promote this pace by documenting results by contributing to research and sharing with a comprehensive surgical community. Challenging cancer surgery is also accurately working with five trained surgeons to perform a variety of cancer operations using Da Vinci in the department. These include complicated cases associated with rectal, esophagus, pancreas, urology and gynecological cancer, where accuracy is absolutely needed. This system is especially useful for complex processes such as exceptionally low rectal surgery, sweeping processes for pancreatic cancer (a complex operation in which part of the pancreas, part of the pancreas and part of the bile tube) and complicated processes such as advanced chest operations. With this capacity, the department can now do some most challenging cancer operations. The Institute received training on September 11, and AIIMS skills, e-learning and telemedicine (SET) were brought to ‘Da Vinci’ surgical robot on September 11. Under a sleeve was provided for training in robotic -supported surgery by the integity surgical drugs. Aiims New Delhi is the only institution in the country with two surgical robots for training. A Hugo practice robot provided by Medtronics was already present in the Set Facilitation Center. Set facility is used to train pupils and faculty members of AIIMs and other institutions. With the increase in cancer cases across the country, the demand for accuracy -based treatments is also increasing. Aiims Delhi has acted as a reference center for some of the most complicated cases, where this technique can bring a significant change. By offering this operation for free, AIIMS ensures that advanced cancer treatment in state hospitals with a high number is available at affordable level and financial obstacles to patients. – Dr. M.
