With this, the roads of Mant, Baldev, Jewar and Baroda areas will be improved. Renovation work will be done on various canal branches and watercourses, which will facilitate transportation of villagers and transportation of agricultural products. This project will boost the rural economy. Repair of canal roads in Mathura: Good news for villagers Jagran Correspondent, Mathura: Passing through potholes on canal tracks and service roads will now become a thing of the past. The irrigation department has sanctioned about Rs 10.41 crore for this. Canal tracks and roads will be paved with this amount. This work will be done on Baldev Service Road, Dhageta Canal, Korai Service Road of Lower Mant branch and Baroda Rajwah, Rasoolpur, Jewar Rajwah, Jattari Alpika and Paisai Minor of Upper Mant branch. Repair of the road from 61.730 to 64.930 km on the Lower Mant branch section Ganganahar will be done at a cost of Rs 44.98 lakh. On this service road, the road from kilometer 124.270 to 128.800 will be repaired at a cost of Rs 66.82 lakh. Repair work from 0 to 6,500 kilometers of Baldev Service Road will be done for Rs 70.47 lakh. Rs 1 crore 7 lakh 81 thousand will be spent on road repair of 10,000 to 17,500 kilometers of Daghenta Canal. Time to complete the work is fixed for one and a half month, tender process is in the final round, work will start soon. A budget of Rs 42.96 lakh has been fixed for the repair of two stretches (5,200 to 7,000 and 17,000 to 18,600 km) on Korai Service Road. Under the Upper Mont branch division Khurja, roads from 0 to 7,400 and 12,200 to 15,200 km will be renovated at a cost of Rs 1.41 crore. Roads 0 to 3,200 and 6,700 to 11,700 kilometers long from Mant branch will be improved at a cost of Rs 1.45 crore. Roads between 22,400 to 26,000 kilometers of Baroda Rajwah I and 38,050 to 39,700 kilometers of II will be constructed at a cost of Rs 76 lakh. Rs 1.61 crore will be spent on different parts of Jewar Rajwaha. The roads of Jattari Alpika and Manharka Alpika will also be renovated at a cost of Rs 38 lakh. Paisai Minor Service Road will be improved at a cost of Rs 84.02 lakh. People living in villages faced the biggest problem due to bad roads. Due to dilapidated canal roads, farmers faced difficulties in transporting their crops to the market. Now the renovation work will not only facilitate transportation but also transportation of agricultural products. By improving the roads, the routes connecting the surrounding towns with the district headquarters and other towns will be strengthened. This project will work to give impetus to the rural economy. All tenders are issued from the Office of the Superintending Engineer. Once the final formalities are completed, work orders will be issued to the construction agencies.
