Jagran Correspondent, Gorakhpur. Taking a strict stand, Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) has canceled the allotment of a total of 24 flats of Lohia Enclave Housing Scheme Phase-1 and Phase-2. This action has been taken against the allottees who have not paid the outstanding amount for a long time. The authority issued instructions to all the concerned allottees to vacate the allotted buildings by 15 November. On the other hand, on receiving the information of cancellation of allotment, most of the allottees closed their respective flats and went somewhere else. People nearby told the team that went to stick the notice on the spot that they were not visible for the last few days. On the other hand, GDA Vice President Anand Vardhan warned that if the possession is not vacated within the stipulated time, legal action will be taken along with sealing and recovery. Along with this, the expenses incurred on sealing and other actions of the people living illegally will be recovered. Kishan Singh, chief engineer in charge of the authority, said along with issuing notices to the defaulters, the GDA team also pasted public notices on the flats. He said that if the flat is not vacated within the stipulated time, sealing action will be taken. Allotment of these flats has been cancelled. According to the public information issued by GDA, MIG 3 BHK block numbers 15/302, 30/301, 10/202 and 11/303 of Phase-1, and 02/SF/303, 01/GF/101, 07/GF/104, of Phase-2 have been cancelled. 01/TF/404, 03/FF/204, 01/GF/102, 06/TF/403, 01/GF/103, 03/GF/104, 03/FF/201, 01/FF/201, 05/404, 06/204, 06/204, 3/204 4/FF/202, 06/FF/203, Total 24 inclusive 06/SF/301, 11/FF/203, 07/SF/304 The allocation of flats was cancelled.
