Governor of Western Bengals expressed concern about the weakened situation in the state, appealing to the restoration of peace

Kolkata, April 12 (IANS). Dr. CV Anand Bose, Governor of Western Bengals, expressed concern about the recent incidents in Jangipur and other areas of the Murshidabad district. The governor said they were getting alarming news by some people to take law and order. The governor issued a video message on Friday, saying: “Everyone has the right to protest in democracy, but violence is acceptable in no form. No one can be allowed to spoil the public system and play with people’s lives. Very strictly acted against such anti -social elements.” He also informed that there was a confidential conversation between the Chief Minister and the Governor as soon as information about possible tensions was received in some parts of the state. He said that even today, when turmoil spread in some areas, discussions with senior government officials were held. The general secretary gave assurances that the state government was acting strictly against the offenses and that the situation would not deteriorate. The state is completely careful and every necessary step is taken. He clearly said that no one can take the law into his own hands and Western Bengals need peace, which will be restored. Bengal is entitled to peace and Bengal will gain peace, there is no doubt. In addition, the West Bengal police have placed a social media, claiming to be under control over the situation. The X -mail wrote, “The situation in Sati and Samprise Areas of Jangipur is now under control. The effective actions of the police have spread the uncontrollable crowd. Traffic has become normal on the national highway. Strict action will be taken against those who commit violence. A raids are done to arrest the abuse.
