Govind Singh Dotasara, president of the Rajasthan Congress, spoke to the media in his Sikar home on Saturday and refuted about the statement of UDH minister Jhabar Singh Kharra. Dotasara strongly condemned the remarks the minister made about Sikar’s proposed master plan, in which he even called the local public a thief and a robber. Dotasara’s response to the statement of the minister: Dotasara said: “Jhabar Singh Kharra has made an abusive and irresponsible statement of Sikar to the people. The same people are the basis of this state and society. The use of such a language by a public representative is unacceptable. Dotasara’s statement on the master plan: Dotasara said that this plan should be in the public interest, and that there should be no unnecessary problems or disputes. He claims that under the master plan proposed by the government, private properties of some people are damaged, and that there is a lot of dissatisfaction among the local population. The president of the congress demanded resignation from the minister: Dotasara also demanded resignation from Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra. He said: “If this statement from the minister was not really, he should apologize to the public in public. And if it is his personal view, he must be freed from his responsibility.” Indication of political rigor: The president of the Rajasthan Congress also indicated that the party would consider further strategy to surround the state government and the FDP on the issue.
