Grand alliance 'Opportunistic Thugbandhan', NDA to win massive victory in Bihar: Praveen Khandelwal

New Delhi, October 19 (IANS). BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal strongly attacked the Grand Alliance after the completion of nominations for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections. He said the grand alliance was at a ‘very thoughtful stage’ and had not yet decided which candidate would contest from where. While talking to IANS, Khandelwal termed it an ‘opportunistic alliance’ and said that this alliance was formed only for power. The people of Bihar are watching everything. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, unprecedented development has taken place in Bihar. NDA will form the government in Bihar with an overwhelming majority. Regarding Prime Minister Modi’s election campaign, Khandelwal said that the people of the country, including Bihar, have unwavering faith in Prime Minister Modi. His speeches have a deep impact on the people that’s why NDA is winning in every state. NDA’s victory is also certain in Bihar. Taking a look at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s statement on Diwali, Khandelwal said there was no need to give Akhilesh Yadav the notice to celebrate Diwali. Diwali is a festival of enthusiasm and excitement. Akhilesh is against Sanatan so this festival annoys him. Lighting lamps and bursting crackers is an integral part of Indian culture. The public rejects such thinking every time. He further said under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, jungle raj and mafia raj have ended in Uttar Pradesh. Today, the common citizen of UP feels safe, but people like Akhilesh do not see development because they wear political glasses. Khandelwal said that this time Diwali is being celebrated with new enthusiasm in the entire country including the service road of Delhi. He told that this time Diwali sales are going to cross the mark of Rs 5 lakh crore, which is a record. There has been a tradition of lighting lamps and firecrackers for centuries since the time of Lord Ram. The Supreme Court approved green coconuts on the Delhi government’s request, brightening the markets. PM Modi’s GST and Swadeshi appeal enthused the people. Diwali will be celebrated with great pomp across the country on October 20. Supporting Defense Minister Rajnath Singh’s statement on BrahMos missile, Khandelwal said that BrahMos is the pride of India. What Rajnath Singh said in Lucknow is absolutely right. One of our BrahMos can wipe out Pakistan. India is equipped with indigenous weapons and we know how to take out the eyes of whoever shows us the eye. –IANS DKM/AS Share this story Tags
