IRCTC blocked 2.5 crore -suspecting users -s to prevent the fraud of the ticket discussion of Tatkal and kept 20 Lakh -IDs under verification. This action was done by IRCTC to prevent black marketing and false discussion of tickets. About 6800 disposable e -mail domains used during booking were also blocked. IRCTC blocked about 2.5 million users IDs that were believed to have been involved in immediate discussion fraud. Not only that, about 20 Lakh -ids were kept under verification. IRCTC was preparing to act against them for a long time. According to the report of the Times of India at 2.9 Lakh Pnr, IRCTC constantly monitored the discussion to combat ticket fraud. 2.9 Lakh PNRs discussed within 5 minutes of the opening of the booking window were also investigated. IRCTC has blocked about 6800 disposable e -mail domains, which are used in the discussion of fraud. IRCTC found that the fraudsters immediately booked and sold passengers on the same ticket at expensive prices. The problem is on some routes, IRCTC has acknowledged that the issue of immediate abolition of Tatkal tickets is only seen on some routes and trains. Officials said efforts were also being made to manage more trains and increase the capacity to solve the problem of passengers. IRCTC has also made several changes in the system to prevent the abuse of its platform.
