The accused Umesh Chandra was arrested in this case. Police have registered a case against him in terms of the Division of the Explosions Act. Police said Vijay Gupta that he attacked the House of Umesh Chandra in the Navjyoti Colony on Monday night with the policy team. There was information that Umesh Chandra stored a large amount of illegal fireworks in his home. Police acted immediately and caught Umesh and searched the house. During the search, different types of fireworks were recovered in the home, including some who could be prohibited under the explosives Act. The Supreme Court has issued strict guidelines on the sale and use of fireworks to control environmental pollution, and only green fireworks are allowed. During questioning by police investigating the business network, Umesh Chandra said he had bought these fireworks from somewhere else and brought them to Hapur. Police are now investigating the network of this illegal undertaking to track down the source of supply of fireworks and other people involved. Police also called on the citizens to buy only green fireworks at licensed stores and immediately notify the police of illegal fireworks.
