Indian Railways took a big step to make the ticket booking system transparent and reliable. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently tweeted that e-Baadhaar verification will be made mandatory soon for discussing Tatkal. This new process will help get rights and confirmed tickets for passengers booking Tatkal tickets. Tatkal -ticket booking will change, and the booking of Tatkal tickets for train travel is often a challenging task, as a large number of people report to the IRCTC website and app at the same time. The result is a great burden on the system, false IDs and disorders during discussion. This new rule of railways will be implemented for the purpose of reducing these problems and only giving Tatkal tickets to real users. Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said in his social media (Twitter) that the railroad through e-inspection verification would be able to identify the right passengers, which will increase the fairness in the ticket discussion process and reduce the impact of false ID on the system. This system can be started at the end of this month. IRCTC users and Aadhaar -Verification -Status are currently over 13 crore -active users on the IRCTC website. But only about 10% of these users confirmed their account with Aadhaar. This is why Railways now makes Aadhaar -based OTP certification mandatory for Tatkal ticket booking, so that only Aadhaar can book -verified account tickets. This step will help prevent activities, boats and false agents during ticket discussion. 3.5 Crore Fake ID blocks, and AI technology, IRCTC has had about 3.5 crore false users over the past one year. This action reduced the system congestion on the platform and improved the experience of ticket discussion. According to the PTI report, IRCTC has identified user IDs using AI-based Advance Technology created from the disposable (short-term) email address. Strict steps were taken to prevent unauthorized tickets by disabling these false accounts. This initiative offers equal chance to all passengers and the booking system has been made safer. Counter -tickets will also be imposed on Aadhaar certification sources, and the booking of the Tatkal ticket will no longer be possible without Aadhaar -Verification at the counter. This means that whether your tickets book online or from the rail bank will be mandatory. This will prevent arbitrary and false ticket bookings from being made by ticket agents, and ordinary passengers will easily get confirmed tickets. What will be the benefit of passengers from this new rule? Fair and secure ticket booking: Only real passengers get tickets, bots activity and false accounts will stop. The possibility of getting confirmed tickets will increase: Tatkal ticket booking system will be more transparent. System load will be reduced: Low false accounts will reduce the crowd on the IRCTC website and app, which will improve ticket discussion experience. Help on unauthorized agents: forgery by agents will be difficult. What is necessary for passengers? For Tatkal ticket booking, you must now verify your IRCTC account (KYC). Without it, Tatkal tickets will not be booked. For this: Go to the IRCTC website or app and connect your Aadhaar number. Complete verification by OTP. Only then will you be able to book Tatkal tickets. Railways’ Future Plan Railways is working on improving passenger services by implementing this technology throughout the country. E-inspection verification will give passengers a secure, transparent and simple ticket reservation experience. Along with this new rule, the railway improves the counter ticket with online tickets, so each passenger easily gets tickets. This initiative of Indian Railways will be important in the ban on the fraud, forgery and interference in discussing Tatkal. It will offer real tickets to the passengers, and the travel experience will be better. All passengers are advised to connect their IRCTC account to Aadhaar as early as possible, so that they have no problem under the new rules that should be implemented from 1 July.
