Great success to security forces in Bijapur, 5 Lakh Naxalite dead in meeting

Bijapur, October 3 (IANS). Security forces have had great success in the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. Security forces piled up a prize of five lakh calls in the meeting and a large amount of weapons were also recovered from the place. The slain Maoist has been identified as Ayatu Podiam, 35, the Gangalur area committee, resident of Gampur. The Maoist organization was in the post of ACM and was active in the Gangalur Area Committee, on which police declared a reward of Rs 5 Lakh. Police Superintendent Jitendra Yadav said that a joint team of DRG and STF, based on reliable information, did a search operation. During this time there was a meeting that continued. Police received a BGL launcher, a single-shot rifle, three BGL cell, three rounds, Walkie-Talkies, Tiffin bombs, Carex wire, safety insurance, Maoist uniforms and other naxal materials of the meeting place. Earlier, 103 Maoists in the Bijapur district surrendered to the senior police and paramilitary officials on Thursday. This is an important step in continued efforts to demolish the Maoist network in the surrender area. The weapon included 49 Maoists declared a total reward of Rs 1.06 crore, including cadres with high arrangement such as DVCM, PPCM, ACM, military commander and members of the Janata Sarkar. A total of 924 arrests, 599 surrender, and 195 Maoists have died over the past two years.
