New -Delhi, September 25 (IANS). Delhi Minister Ashish Sood visited the Nutrhangapur market in Janakpuri on Thursday as part of the GST Savings Festival campaign. During this, he met shop owners and local people and spread awareness about the benefits of GST. Minister Ashish Sood described this initiative as a great gift for the countrymen on behalf of Premier Modi. He said that GST deduction not only facilitates the tax system, but also assures savings on different items for consumers. Ashish Sood said that under the GST savings festival, attractive discounts are given on many everyday items. For example, 20 liter Bisleri water bottle saves Rs 5-6, while Desi Ghee gets a discount of Rs 15-20 per liter. In addition, the concession tariffs have also been implemented on many other products, causing direct economic benefits to the general public. He said this campaign is beneficial to traders, as well as providing goods to consumers at affordable prices. He announced that he would go to different markets from Delhi for the next ten days and raise awareness about this campaign. Their goal is that more and more people make use of this initiative and understand the positive effects of GST. During this, he also called on the shop owners to clearly explain the release of clients due to GST, so that transparency remains. On this occasion, a new toilet was also inaugurated in the Prasangipur market under Seva Pakhwara initiative. This new facility offers significant relief to local shop owners and residents in terms of cleanliness and comfort. The people present during the opening ceremony appreciated the move and described it as an important achievement for the Janakpuri region. Minister Ashish Sood said on this occasion that the government of Delhi is committed to raising public facilities and ensuring economic benefits for citizens.
