GST SAVINGS FESTIVAL: Relief to public from New Reforms in Lucknow, promotes Swadeshi
Lucknow, September 22 (IANS). The central government has announced to reduce GST plate from four to two (5 and 18 percent) under the next generation GST reforms, which are celebrated as ‘GST Savings Festival’. Dr Shyam Sundar Pathak, assistant commissioner at Uttar Pradesh State Tax, praised these reforms. Dr. Shyam Sundar Pathak, assistant commissioner of Uttar Pradesh State Tax, spoke to Ians. Dr. Pathak said: “The decrease in GST plate has either become tax-free because of everyday needs such as food, medicine, soap, toothpaste and insurance, etc., but the experience of the Corona period has provided that India will spend more than a saving of Rs 2.5 Lakh-Crore, this time will increase the consumer.” Indigenous goods during the festive season, which Dr. Pathak supported, said: “MSME and middle -class traders are excited about this improvement because the middle -class products will save the most.
