Gujarat ATS has arrested false weapon license rack, 40 accused so far

Ahmedabad, April 12 (IANS). Gujarat ATS (Anti Terrorism Squad) has achieved great success. The team exposed the gang that made weapons licenses of Nagaland and Manipur based on false documents and a major fraud. A total of 40 accused have been arrested, including Shaukat Ali Syed, the most important accused of the Nuh district of Haryana, in this case. The ATS registered a case on April 7 and began investigation. In the first action, 7 accused were arrested. Based on the information received from this accused, another accused was arrested. After this, 16 more accused were caught in ATS within two days. Now 16 new accused have been arrested again. In this way, a total of 40 accused have been arrested so far. The ATS team arrested the most important accused Shaukat Ali Syed of Nagaland. He comes from the Nuh district of Haryana. Shaukat received false weapons licenses to the people by making false documents by contacts from Nagaland and Manipur in greed to sell more weapons. This gang used to provide illegal weapons to people based on a false license. So far, 29 weapons and 935 rounds of cartridges have been seized in the Gujarat ATS action. This matter is considered not only for the state, but also for national security. Officials said a case against all the accused is registered under strict divisions under the Arms Act and that the entire network is being investigated.
