Gujarat: PMShree School of Mehsana district has set an example in education and sports.
Mehsana, October 21 (IANS). PMShree Mrs. Kamlaben Babulal Shah Anupam Primary School of Khairalu Taluka of Mehsana, Gujarat, developed under the PMShree scheme i.e. Prime Minister School for Rising India scheme of the Central Government has emerged as an example not only in Gujarat but in the country. Under the scheme, the educational infrastructure of the school was modernized. Be it laboratory or library or smart board in class, the students of the school get world class education facilities. Student Rajesh Kumar told that our school has a modern library and science lab. Through this we gain knowledge in a new way and get information on how to move towards progress. At school, along with children’s studies, special attention is also given to extracurricular activities and they are encouraged to participate in sports tournaments. Student Tamanna Thakur said that there are many types of sports in my school like Taekwondo, Volleyball, Soccer, Cricket and Kabaddi. Our PT sir also takes us out to participate in their tournaments. Children from kindergarten to eighth grade study in this PMShree school. Due to the modern education system provided by the government, the children here have brought credit to both themselves and the school at the national and international level. PMshree Primary School of Vithoda also received the School of Excellence Award. Principal Kanubhai Prajapati said that whatever achievements we have achieved in the sports field in the school were achieved only because of the indoor Games Stadium constructed under the PMShri scheme. Our children have done very well at international, national and state level and have won many awards. Children also achieved very well in music room and drawing room. School is a place where students not only get education, but it is also where their personality blossoms and around development takes place.
