Gujarat: President Drupadi Murmu visited Lord Dwarkadhish

Dwarka, October 11 (IANS). President Draupadi Murmu is on a three -day visit to Gujarat. On the third day, Saturday, he visited Dwarka and had Darshan of Lord Dwarkadhish. When he reached Dwarka, the Holy Land of Lord Dwarkadhish, on the third day of his three-day visit to Gujarat, President Draupadi Murmu received a warm welcome from the Dwarka helicopter. At the Helipad, the Minister of Tourism, Mulubhai Bera, collector Rajesh Tanna and police district backing agents, Jairaj Singh Vala, welcomed the president by presenting him a bouquet. A day earlier, President Draupadi Murmu reached the first Jyotirlinga Shri Somnath Mahadev Temple in Prabhas Patan, Gujarat, and offered Darshan and worship. He bowed his head at Lord Somnath and offered special prayers for the welfare, happiness, wealth and prosperity of the countrymen. On this occasion, he offered Ganga water to the Lord and performed Someshwar Mahapuja amid Vedic singing. His daughter Itishree Murmu was also present with the president. It is noteworthy that President Drupadi Murmu is on Thursday on a three -day visit to Gujarat. She reached Rajkot on Thursday night and reached Rajkot of Rajkot on Friday morning and offered prayers in the Somnath Temple.
