Gujarat: Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav honored 41 staff members at the RPF Foundation Day Parade in Falsead.

Falsead, October 13 (IANS). RPF Foundation Day was celebrated at the Railway Protection Force (RPF) regional training center in Valsad, Gujarat. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav participated in the Foundation Day Parade as the main gas. Ashwini Vaishnav has 41 RPF staff awarded with the president’s medal, Jeevan Raksha Medal, etc. Felicitated Felicited, for their brave efforts to save the lives of passengers. Vaishnav took the ceremonial greeting of the parade and appreciated the discipline, accuracy and dedication of the staff. He said these awards reflect the exemplary service of RPF in the protection of the rail network and other members. In his speech, the Minister wholeheartedly congratulated the RPF staff on their return day and their unwavering commitment in the safety of passengers and railroad property. In particular, he praised the role of RPF in ensuring safety and smooth journey of Lakhs of dedicated during the recently organized Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. He said Indian Railways led by Premier Narendra Modi is going through a period of historical change. In the past 11 years, 35,000 km of new railways has been laid and 99 percent of the rail network (approximately 60,000 km) has been electrified. Currently, 150-year-old Bharat and 30 Amrit Bharat Express trains are underway, giving a world-class experience to the passengers. The minister called the Amrit Bharat station theme, including 1300 stations being redeveloped. Of these, 110 stations were inaugurated and worked on the remaining work quickly. Keeping in mind the festive season, a record number of more than 12,000 special trains for Diwali and Chhath are run, so that passengers can get comfort. Vaishnav mentions the rapid deployment of the Kavach system on major routes such as Delhi-Howrah and Delhi-Mumbai, which are in the final stages. He said the armor has so far been installed on 1200 engines. In addition, 7,000 coaches are manufactured each year, while 3.500 general coaches for general passengers have been added. The minister has announced new advanced technological upgrades and training initiatives for the RPF, saying that modern technology is used extensively in power. This will make security more efficient.
