Gwalior: Jyotiraditya scindia has assessed developmental works, special attention on roads
Gwalior, October 3 (IANS). Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia held a meeting at a high level to review the District’s Development Works at the collector on the second day of his three -day Gwalior tour. In Charge Minister Tulsiram Silavat, the Minister of Energy, Pradyuman Singh Tomar, MLA and District Administration officials were present in the meeting. However, Bharat Singh Kushhaha, MP of the Gwalior, did not attend this assessment meeting. When Scindia was asked about this, he said, “Ask Bharat Singh Kushwaha on this subject why he did not come.” In the meeting, there was a thorough discussion on major issues such as Gwalior’s bad traffic system, roads, sewage, drainage, water availability and increased road. Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia in particular emphasized the analysis of 369 roads in the district, which is classified in green (good condition), yellow (required recovery) and red (poor position) categories. He said that out of a total of 369 roads, 63 yellow and 171 in the red category, which should work on 234 roads. Jalotiraditya Scindia said that 37 of these roads are under the guarantee period, which must be restored by the builder. Money was allocated for 89 roads, which began the work of a total of 126 roads. The remaining 108 roads are facing different problems. In addition, 37 other roads are divided into three parts, of which 31 roads fall under the municipal corporation. Of these, ten roads are completed, while the work of 21 roads is expected to be completed by November 10. Union Minister Jalotiraditya Scindia thanked the district administration for analyzing roads, saying that these issues will be discussed in detail in the next meeting. He gave clear instructions to the authorities for the construction and repair of roads. He said we had a detailed discussion about our five issues about 3 to 3.5 hours. All the public representatives, including our mayor, all our MAs and all the ministers were present. It was a very meaningful discussion on different issues. We are committed to the development of Gwalior. The meeting also emphasized the improvement of the traffic system and the strengthening of the infrastructure.
