Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) will soon get its fourth F-404 engine for Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) MK1A. Earlier this month, the third engine was given. Hal said earlier that the third GE-404 engine was found for LCA MK1A. Another engine is expected to be found by the end of September 2025. Improvement in the supply chain will facilitate the offer of MK1A. Sources told India Today that the fourth engine has not yet come, but will come in the coming days. In addition, Nashik Plant Tejas is fully prepared for the first flight of MK1A, which will be in October. The delay in the US engine supply affected the offer of Tejas MK1A. Hal -officials say that the supply chain will now be averted again. From October, at least two engines are expected to be available each month. In addition to the F-404 engines, 10 F-414 engines have already arrived. 97 Additional Tejas completed the 113 F-404 engines for MK1A. The prices negotiations have been completed. Now only the contract still has to be signed, which will be this month. The Cabinet Committee on Security Affairs (CCS) has already approved it. Sources said earlier that Hal would provide the first two LCA MK1A in October. Ten aircraft have already been built and tested. An aircraft is ready to supply Nashik. Despite the delay, half maintained the speed. Weapons that have been successfully tested have completed the MK1A capacity Siddha Tejas Mk1a successfully department integration tests.
