Former Indian cricket veteran rotator Harbhajan Singh inaugurated public Durga Utsav Panda Pandal in Ashok Nagar Park in Kolkata, along with the Minister of Sport in Western Bengale, Arup Vishwas. On this occasion, Harbhajan expressed his reverence for Maa Durga and appreciated the love and respect of the people of Kolkata. Harbhajan, who emphasizes the importance of Durga Puja, said: “Durga Puja is a festival that we all wait eagerly. Mother Durga is worshiped everywhere, but in Kolkata it is celebrated as a big festival in Kolkata. It is a mother’s blessing that I am present here today.” During this time, Harbhajan Singh was also questioned about the India-Pakistan cricket match, which he enthusiastically said: “May the grace of Maa Durga remain and win India in this match.” Harbhajan Singh also expressed his feelings when former captain and cricket administrator Sourav Ganguly joined the Race for the position of President of the Bengal Cricket Association (CAB). He said: “Dada (Sourav Ganguly) is like an older brother to me. There is a person in life who supports you in difficult times and holds your hand. Sourav is the same person to me.
