In the second phase, the land acquisition work of only 18 towns out of total 57 in this section could be completed. Then the railway operation was started from Bathua to Panchdeori, but in addition, the work to acquire the land of the remaining 39 towns of this division trapped because of a lack of funds. According to departmental data, Rs 1.81 billion is needed to acquire land in these towns. Train operation up to Panchdeori is underway. The construction work on the land of 18 towns obtained in the second phase at the Land Procurement Division for Railways was completed in the year 2018. In such a situation, the operation of trains is until Panchdevri started two years ago, but the construction of new railway line in front of the Bhathwan village near PanchdeVri has long been a long time. Ordinary people had high expectations of the new project. When the new railway project was announced about 18 years ago, people had high expectations from this section.
