Prabowo receives British delegation in Hambalang and expands education cooperation
Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto received a special messenger from British Prime Minister Steve Smith and British Ambassador to the Dominic Jermey in Indonesia in his Hambalang residence, Bogor, West -Java. Prabowo, Teddy says, encouraged an increase in the number of Indonesian students who could gain access to education in British leading tertiary institutions. “Whether it’s directly in the UK or on the British campus in Indonesia,” he explained. Not only that, Teddy said that this meeting also includes the discussion of research collaboration between professors and researchers from the two countries. The focus of research is aimed at national strategic issues, especially the topic of downstream as said in the ASTA Cita National Development Agenda. “Increasing collaboration between Indonesian research or professors and British researchers or professors, especially for the downstream topic of 28 Indonesian priority natural resources in accordance with ASTA Cita,” he added.
