Prabowo Praise Türkiye's decisive attitude Palestine: Many other countries are quiet
Ankara – President Prabowo Subianto praised Türkiye’s firm attitude to defending Palestine during a state speech in the Turkish parliament in a series of state visits. Prabowo said many other countries were quiet when Gaza, Palestine, was bombarded with Israel. “Brothers and sisters of the great meeting are honored, we feel that the situation of the world is full of uncertainty at this time, and we now feel that there is oppression by great nations of poor nations,” Prabowo said in his speech at the National Assembly Building, Ankara, Türkiye, Thursday (10/4/2025). Prabowo said the Turkish government has a firm attitude to defending Palestine like Indonesia. According to him, Turkish leaders expressed the issue. He emphasized that the Indonesian government is committed to defending Palestine with Türkiye. “Many countries talk about democracy, talk about human rights, but when children are bombed, innocent mothers are bombed, the people of Gaza are losing all their lives. Many countries are quiet and pretend they don’t know and pretend it’s not a human rights violation,” Prabowo said. Prabowo said Indonesia and Türkiye want to defend justice. “Türkiye has a firm attitude because we feel like we are with Türkiye to defend justice, the truth in the world that is now full of uncertainty,” he continued.
