HAZARIBAGH NEWS: Revenue -employee caught bribes with a red hand after rejecting land documents - employee of revenue arrested for bribery in Hazaribagh Daru Anchal Office

Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Hazaribagh on Thursday arrested Giani Ram, a contractual income employee at Daru Zonal Office, while accepting a bribe of Rs 3,000. The accused claims bribes from the applicant in the name of the name. According to the information received, Hiraman Prajapati (47 years), resident of Medkuri Kala Village, applied to the ACB to complain that Giani Ram claimed Rs 10,000 in exchange for the name of his wife Durga Devi who registered and rejected and threatened that if the money was not given, the application would be rejected. After the complaint, ACB investigated the case. When the allegations were found wherever verification, the prevention of corruption case was registered 12/2025. The ACB’s special trap team, which consists of a delegate magistrate and two government witnesses, planned and carried out the action on Friday. The team arrested Giani Ram while taking the first installment of Rs 3,000 of the plaintiff. According to ACB sources, Giani Ram, Father Churaman Ram, residents of the town of Darutola Bakshidih, police station Daru, District Hazaribagh. He worked as a contractual income employee in Daru Zonal Office. Giani Ram retired from Sadar Block in 2019 and was later re-appointed to the Daru zone on contract. Evergreen Company rented him on contract. According to the information, it has become a habit of demanding money for every work in Daru Zonal Office. This is the third arrest in the past four years, raising serious questions about the Zonal office work style. After the arrest, the accused was brought to the ACB office, where he is being questioned. The team is also doing further action and other involvement in the case is being investigated.
