The court said that these institutions benefit from the youth seeking degrees in the hope of government opportunities. The Punjab and Haryana High Court have expressed serious concern about the falling level of education and regulation in the country, and has commented on illegal and uncontrolled educational institutions. The court said that such institutions benefit from the coercion of the youth who want to obtain a degree in the hope of obtaining a government work. He said that, despite repeated instructions to courts and regulatory bodies, these institutions did not show that they fully fulfill their constitutional responsibility. The negligence of regulatory bodies not only influenced the quality of education, but also jeopardized the future and public interest of the students. The bank expressed deep concern about commercialization of education and said that when commercial interests dominate academic standards, the court could not remain dumb spectators. The court said that if the regulatory organizations did not act honestly, the entire education system would lose its credibility. The court has made it clear that the time has now come for the officials to adopt ‘proactive and transparent monitoring mechanisms’ so that only the institutions operate that actually provide quality education. At the same time, the court warned that further negligence would encourage those who abuse the education system. Order to stop centers without acceptance, the Supreme Court aimed at stopping the centers for contempt education without acceptance immediately. The court said the control of the increasing number of such unauthorized centers is needed so that the students are not victims of fraud. The court also made it clear that only theoretical knowledge is not enough in technical courses such as engineering, but that practical training is their backbone. Justice, referring to the Supreme Court decision, said practical sessions cannot be changed by distance education.
