Guwahati (Assam) [India]September 24 (Ani): The wife of the late singer Zubeen Garg, Garima Saikia, shared the details of the last and upcoming film ‘Roi Roi Binale’ of the singer actor, which is planned to release by the makers on October 31, 2025. After the emotional and great final of Zubeen Garg in Kamarkuchi town in the Guwah Outskirts, it’s Tuesday, the late Singer’s wife, “Passionate” about his film, which is currently in post-production. While talking to Ani, Garima Saikia said: “We are working on a film, Roi Roi Binale, which will be his last film. And he was very passionate about it. He was planning to release it on October 31. Saikia also regretted the fact that he was unable to deduce the ‘voting double’ of Zubeen Garg in the film because of his untimely downfall in Singapore, which calls it a ‘void’ in the film. “I regret that his voice did not happen, because he also acted in this film and in a very different role. He was very excited about it. He would have come as a blind artist. So it is a pure musical love story. I think people would like it too. But we couldn’t fade his voice. So it will be a void in the film. But other music and everything were done, ‘Garima added Saikia. Lakshman Prasad Acharya, the Governor of Assam, paid tribute to the actor while offering his prayers, saying that the whole country is grateful for Zubeen Garg and his contribution to society. “The whole country is grateful for Jubeen’s contribution. We will all work together to improve his job. We will all work together to improve his work. We are all grateful to him,” Lakshman Prasad Arya said while talking to Ani. Well -known singer and composer Zubeen Garg was cremated on Tuesday with full state capacity in Kamarkuchi on the outskirts of Guwahati. The last rituals were performed by Zubeen Garg’s sister Palme Borthakur. The widow of the singer, Garima Saikia, was seen in tears as she brought her last tribute to ‘Goldie’, the name he mentioned among friends and family. A gun salute was given to Zubeen in the crematorium in the Kamarkuchi town in Sonapur. Hundreds of people gathered at the crematorium to say an emotional farewell to their beloved singer. Assam’s chief minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, paid tribute flowers and wrote in a post on his social media, “the last time I had to see #Lovedzubeen. From now on, he will live in Assam’s soul, spirit and heart …” Union Minister Kiren Rijiju paid his last respect for Garg at the Crematorium in Kamarkuchi. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was present on the site and monitored all the rituals in coordination with the authorities and the family members of the singer. The mortal remains of the deceased singer were held at the Bhogeawar Baruah sports complex for his fans and wishes to pay their tribute before his funeral. The 52-year-old Assam icon died in Singapore in September after an alleged drowning incident. His body was flown to Delhi and later transported to Assam on a commercial flight that ended up in Guwahati on Sunday morning. Garg was in Singapore for the Northeast Indian festival. (Ani)
