Jakarta -Head of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Hasan Nasbi has now responded to the ministry level to the HAJJ Organizing Agency (BP) after the Revision of the Hajj and Umrah Act in the DPR. Hasan said President Prabowo Subianto would issue a Presidential Regulation (PerPres) that the institution of the Hajj’s Ministry was followed by the law. “It is a law, its order to create a ministry, which means that the government, the president in this case, will make a presidential by -law (perpress) to execute the law. The perpress to form the Hajj’s Ministry,” Hasan said at the PCO office, Jakarta, Tuesday (8/26/2025). Hasan answered whether the head of BP Haji Mochamad Irfan Yusuf automatically served as minister after the agency became a ministry. He handed it over to Prabowo. Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament Submi Dasco Ahmad handed over the formation of the Hajj’s Ministry to the government.
