Health camps organized among 'healthy women, a strong family campaign' in Bharuch

Bharuch, September 18 (IANS). On the occasion of the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, various health camps in the Bharuch district Gujarat were arranged under ‘Healthy Female strong family Abhiyan’. The campaign started from September 17 and runs until October 2. Women have taken health -related advice in different health camps. This campaign focuses on women’s health empowerment. The main purpose of this campaign is to raise health awareness among women and provide them for free health services. Various tests are done in camps organized in urban and rural areas of the district, including blood pressure, diabetes, hemoglobin. In addition, health counseling, nutritional guidance and necessary medicines are also provided for pregnant mothers, adolescent girls and women. Dr. District Health Head Munira Shukla informed campaigns under this campaign at all the health centers across the country and the state, of which 320 will be held special camps. About 296 types of health services will be provided in these camps. Services of other specialist doctors, including gynecologist, doctor will be available in special camps. In addition, blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, TB and other non-communicable diseases are tested. In addition, prenatal sin, nutritional guidance, anemia and necessary medicines for pregnant women will be distributed.
