'Healthy Women Strong Family' campaign concluded with over 18 Lakh health camps
New -delhi, October 3 (IANS). The Healthy Women Strong Family campaign, which lasted from September 17 to October 2, was concluded with widespread participation, which favored millions of women, children and families through extensive health services. At the end of October 2, more than 18 Lakh (18.08.071) health camps (including both screening and special camps) were organized as part of the campaign, which recorded a presence of about 10 Crore citizens (9.85.63.619) across the country and benefited more than 6.5 crore women. During this campaign, more than 1.78 crore citizens were investigated for high blood pressure and more than 1.72 crore burgers for diabetes. More than 37 lakh women searched for breast cancer and over 19 Lakh cervical cancer. Oral cancer -sifting of more than 69 lakh people was performed. More than 62.60 lakhs were performed, while more than 1.43 crore children received life -saving vaccines. More than 1.51 crore people have been investigated for anemia. The nutritional counseling session has reached more than 1.16 crore people. Screening was done for TB of more than 85 lakh citizens and sickle disease of 10.23 lakhs. 10.69 Lakh Darshayas is registered. More than 4.30 Lakh blood donors have been registered, along with more than 10.69 Lakh Ayushman/PM-Jay cards. In addition to the broad network of NHM health camps, AIIMS, other institutions of national interest (ini), tertiary health service hospital, Ayushman Arogya Temple, medical college and private institutions are also a leading role in this national campaign. These institutions arranged thousands of special camps, where the beneficiaries provided advanced investigation, diagnosis, counseling and treatment services, which strengthened the efforts of state governments and community health workers. Healthy women -strong family campaigns have so far been the largest health campaign for women and children in India. In terms of this initiative under the joint leadership of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Ministry of Women and Child Development, millions of health camps in Ayushman Arogya Temples, Community Health Centers (CHCs), District Hospitals and other Government Health Centers from 17 September to 2 October to 2 October arranged and Remedial Health at community level. Healthy women Strong Family Campaign has strengthened non-communicable diseases, anemia, tuberculosis and sickle cell disease, early identification and treatment relations. Mother, baby and adolescent health were also promoted by prenatal care, vaccination, nutrition, menstrual hygiene, lifestyle and mental health awareness activities. The campaign inspired communities to adopt a healthy lifestyle, giving special emphasis on obesity prevention, better nutrition and voluntary blood donation. -Ians DKP/
