Investigation revealed that Sushila’s younger son Ravi Negi is missing from the house after the incident. It was he who killed the mother by slitting her throat and ran away with the knife used in the crime. The young man arrested is said to be mentally disturbed. His wife and daughter live apart from him. About six months ago, he came back to Sector-40 to live with his mother. According to police sources, Ravi had an irritable nature and often quarreled with the local people and his family.
