Hemant -government surrounded by the allegations of the IPS officer, BJP is accused of smiling

BJP state spokesman Pratul Shahdev accused the government of suppressing the allegations of corruption in the purchase of safety equipment by an IPS officer of the Jharkhand cadre under the whistle. A press release says he said that four to five times more than the market price was paid when purchasing security equipment. He claimed that the government initially did not consider these allegations for months. Later, when the pressure increased, an investigative committee was compiled chaired by the officer accused. After the riot, the government made a change in the committee and made ADG level officer T. Kandaswamy as chairman. But they were long on leave, which stopped the speed of inquiry. According to the information, there has not been a single meeting of the committee so far. All of this shows that the government does not want a serious investigation, but is trying to cover corruption. He said that the basic purpose of the whistle -blower is that if an officer or employee exposes corruption, it should not get security and identity at all levels, but unlike Jharkhand, the government has done the job to make the whistle -blower unsafe and give the accused protection.
