The purpose of this scheme is to encourage the participation of public, private sector and local communities in heritage conservation. To increase the overall tourism experience and promote economic development around Delhi’s lesser -known monuments across the city. The main focus of the scheme is on improving the experience of visitors/tourists, which initially intends to adopt monuments as ‘memorable’ for a five -year period, which will also be revised from time to time. On this scheme, a Round Table conference was also organized by the Delhi Secretariat’s archaeological department on Friday to make the monuments of the city of Delhi a center of cultural activities in collaboration with businesses and equipped them with infrastructure. The event was attended by UNESCO, Dalmia Group Civilization Foundation, Aga Khan Trust, Kakini, Intake Delhi Chapter, Dhall, Architectural Studio India, K-2 India, Cosmo, Bodh Gaya Temple Management Committee, etc. Delhi’s arts and cultural minister Kapil Mishra said that all these monuments should go to the 19th century at the 8th century, and they looked at the 19th century the 8th century, the 19th century, to the 19th century, and it was at the 19th century that was the 19th century to the 19th century architecture. Mishra also said that the government of Delhi has several historical monuments that have not been maintained and ignored for years. We renovated and preserved about 75 of these. Our goal is to bring social participation to it, so that this heritage of Delhi can be made more beautiful, accessible and alive.
