UP scholarship fraud: Constable's wife allegedly cheated £ 70,000 funds for B.Ed studies in lake

In the midst of rising scams in the country, a woman from the constable, Reshma Saifi, was accused of obtaining almost £ 70,000 on bursary funds on her B.Ed studies by using her mother’s income certificate, according to a Hindustan Hindi report. The report said that Advocate Mohammad Shahid of Shastri Nagar Nagar filed a formal complaint with the office of the Minority Minority Welfare claiming that Reshma manipulated documents to secure the scholarship. Hindustan Hindi reported that Reshma, a resident of Nangla Tashi in Kankerkheda, MeerUT, was enrolled at the B.Ed program at Ismail National Women’s PG College on November 24, 2022.
