A high-level Pakistani delegation has arrived in Doha to begin talks with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. This delegation includes Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and Intelligence Agency chief Asim Malik. Meanwhile, a delegation from Kabul led by Afghan Defense Minister Mullah Mohammad Yacob Mujahid and Intelligence Agency Chief Abdul Haq Wasiq will reach Doha. Pakistan and Afghanistan have extended their temporary 48-hour ceasefire until the end of Doha talks. This decision was taken at the request of Pakistan. This conversation takes place after the recent violent clashes on the border, in which dozens of people were killed and many injured. However, there are allegations that Pakistan has violated the ceasefire. Recently, seven Pakistani soldiers were killed and 13 others injured in a suicide attack in North Waziristan, Pakistan. Despite this, Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the Kabul government had instructed its forces to maintain the ceasefire unless Pakistan attacked. The meeting is mediated by Qatar and Turkey. According to Qatari sources, this meeting is being mediated by Qatar and Türkiye. The main focus will be on promoting the ceasefire and resolving recent political and security challenges. Expert Jannat Fahim said the participation of high-level representatives from both countries is an indication that the talks can yield positive results. So that terrorism can be eliminated!
