Highest priority to ensure safety of students from Northeast: CM Relha Gupta

New -delhi, October 3 (IANS). Delhi Chief Minister Velha Gupta said on Friday that the government’s top priority is to ensure the safety, education and future of the Northeast students. In the 8th Northeast Student Festival (Nest Fest 2025) held at Trachatora Stadium, CM Relha Gupta assured students and youth of the North Eastern place in Delhi that the government was firmly with them for their safety, education and future. He announced that the North -Eastern Student Festival will be arranged on a large scale in the coming years. Former Mizoram UK Singh, former BJP national secretary and my home -founder Sunil Deodhar and other dignitaries were also present at the event. The chief minister said the youth present in the program that the core of the entire India was contained in three words ‘Mera Ghar Bharat’. He praised the rich culture, traditions and natural beauty of the northeastern states, saying that the region led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now firmly related to the mainstream of the country. He said that facilities such as roads, railways, airports, colleges and IITs have now reached the northeastern states, which were mentioned earlier the last end. CM Relha Gupta told the students and youth of the northeast in Delhi that Delhi is also their own home. He praised the traditional costumes, Sarees and diverse cultural colors of the northeastern states, saying that each state symbolizes India its unique beauty and pride. In another development, the Delhi Tourism Division inaugurated the Draprastha Dance Festival, a great confluence of Indian classical dances in the historic Purana Fort complex. This three -day festival brings together well -known artists across the country who show their incredible talent. Minister Kapil Mishra, a minister of Delhi government, said that a spectacular cultural programs are held one after another in Delhi. In the last few months, there have been major celebrations of Navratri, Garba and TEEJ, perhaps for the first time in the history of Delhi on such a large scale. He further said that the old Fort is a witness to this dance festival today. Here we not only dance, but we also see the confluence of diverse and prosperous cultural traditions of India.
