Jagran Team, Shimla. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has announced to give advance honorarium to all outsourced and project employees before Diwali. Chief Minister Sukhu has issued instructions in this regard to the finance department. The Chief Minister has given huge relief to thousands of employees of the state. The festival of Diwasi is on October 20. As there are three major festivals after Karva Chauth, Diwali and then Bhaiya Dooj, CM Sukhu announced to give advance salaries to the employees. CM also gave a gift on Diwali to the contractors of the state. CM directed the finance department to make pending payments up to Rs 10 lakh. Yesterday, the chief minister announced that he will release three percent installments of the premium allowance to lakhs of employees and pensioners, the notification of which was also issued in the evening. Payment worth crores of rupees to the contractors is still pending. Due to the Diwali festival, CM Sukhu issued instructions for payment of up to Rs 10 lakh.
