Shanta Kumar, president of Vivekananda Trust, said in the annual meeting of Kayakalp Institute that the institute has completed 20 years of operation this year. The basic objective of establishing the institute was to create awareness about health among the people of Himachal and the treatment of lifestyle related diseases. Kayakalp has achieved NABH recognition under the Quality Council of India. The organization has already achieved the quality standard of ISO 9001:2015. He said that more than 50,000 health seekers from India and abroad have availed the services of the institution. Special provision for exemption has also been made on the basis of different categories of income and for senior citizens. To promote yoga, one yoga camp in a month has been organized for school children for some time. So far 300 students have been benefited. Yoga teachers reach schools and make the rising generation of the country aware of yoga. Shanta Kumar said that Kayakalp is doing good work every year and the income is also increasing. In the annual meeting, he met with the employees and reiterated the service values of the organization and discussed the future outline.
