Himachal Pradesh: Vierlane and highways damaged by rain will be rebuilt as before: Ajay Tamta

Mandi, September 14 (IANS). The Minister of the State of the Union for Road Transport and Highways Ajay Tamta investigated the Kitrapur-Manali Fourlane on Sunday. He then said that the power damaged by rain and highways will be made again as before. For this, the central government released Rs 264 Crore. Ajay Tamta said that due to rain, whatever the leading and national highways in Himachal Pradesh, they would be made in the same condition again. He said the state has 2600 km NH, of which 785 km is under Nhai, while 1200 km NH and 570 km are under Bro. He informed that by the state government and the former cm and leader of the opposition Jairam Thakur, all information about the damage to the central government is provided. Whatever DPR will come, the works will resume by approving the immediate effect. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is serious about the damage done here and takes information from moment to moment. Ajay Tamma further said that the front of Kitarpur to Manali is very important in terms of tourism and safety. This route works to connect Lahaul-Spiti and Leh via Kullu-Manali. All the losses are judged here. Nhai officials placed in the area are working on roads day and night. The path from Kitarpur to Kullu has been repaired for traffic and the road will be restored until September 20. During the inspection, Ajay Tamta was also present with the former cm and leader of the opposition Jairam Thakur, MLA, Nhai officials and officials of the Mandi district administration.
